I just wanted to take a minute to say a few things;
I have had my eyes opened this week. The love and support I have been shown by so many people means the absolute world to me. I never expected to receive such a huge response, from such a large amount of people. I am so very humbled. I can not wait for the day I tell Kandis the story of how her community pulled together, and helped her during the hardest time of her life. The generosity I have experienced in the past week is so amazingly overwhelming - I can't even count how many people have offered their time, help, or donations. For those people, I will be forever grateful. They certainly have earned a very special place in our family's hearts.
Planning this fundraiser has been chaotic in the simplest of terms, but I am so glad I took a chance and went through with it. Not only to help our little girl, but to show everyone just how incredible our community is. We are so blessed to be living in such a giving, loving place in the world. I couldn't imagine going through this without you all. It has truly lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders to know that we have a whole community behind us, and we no longer have to go through this alone.
